Every year, the magic of Christmas is transformed into action at the annual beloved Christmas lunch of the Grande Bretagne and King George Hotels.

A tradition that began several years ago as a thank-you invitation to journalists and associates has now evolved into an institution. For the first time, invited by the then General Manager Tim Ananiadis and the Public Relations Manager Christina Papathanasiou, I had the opportunity to experience firsthand the elegance of this special meal that is now worthily continued by Hom Parviz and Maria Koutzabasi, respectively, continuing this glamorous meeting.

Since then, the invitation has expanded and the venue for the meal is now the Michelin-starred Tudor Hall of the King George Hotel. A venue that combines elegance with a unique view of the Acropolis, highlights the glamour of Athens and creates the perfect atmosphere for such a special meeting.

And some things may have changed over the years, but what remains unchanged is the warmth of the hosts who create an atmosphere full of sparkle, warmth and festive mood.

The President of LAMPSA S.A., Chloe Laskaridi, welcomed the attendees with words full of enthusiasm, referring to the impressive course of Greek tourism and the achievements of the group during the past year. She did not fail to thank the media for their continuous support, recognizing their contribution to the dynamic presence of hotels in the area. The event had everything it needed to win our impressions. Music by Fotis Nezis, who accompanied the festive melodies on the piano and a refined menu created by Executive Chef Asterios Koustoudis.

In this festive atmosphere, we had the opportunity to meet with colleagues we hadn't seen in a while, to exchange wishes, thoughts and optimistic messages for the coming year, enjoying moments that unite, inspire and highlight the beauty of collaboration. A meal that is not just an event, but a moment of celebration with timeless value.
